This is definitely NOT a trail for beginners. It was absolutely beautiful but we spent so much time looking down to make sure that we did not trip, slip or fall that it was hard to appreciate what was around us. Also there needs to be more markers on the trail, especially coming down the North side. We had to retrace our steps at least separate times (we noticed other had done that too). Take insect repellent! The trail is three miles and very little is gradual.
Great quick hike with some steeper sections. Kind of a bummer the reroute took out the fun, technical section over the North Ledges.
