Been to Beattyville / Lee County several times for the Woolly Worm Festival. Everyone is super nice and helpful. Dedra is helpful in finding places to stay, local events and places to eat. It’s a pretty town and lots of outdoors type things to do.
Great place for a history lesson and outdoor adventure.nThe area has one of the best, most involved tourism directors I have met while exploring eastern Kentucky this summer. I especially enjoyed the museum.
