The staff are really nice, the whole place is very clean. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay with them a very good one. We will definitely call them again on our next trip to the area.
Hot tub and pool were incredible! The waterfall in the hot tub pounding on my achy back was heaven! The beds were so comfortable we were trying to think of ways to sneak them into our car to bring home! The breakfast was miniscule with very few already packaged pastries that you can buy at any convenience store, tiny juice cups that you'd think to get at a little kid school. But we always go out for breakfast so it wasn't a big deal. There were lots of outlets in the room close to the beds so charging devices was easy and convenient. Overall a fantastic stay!
It's the best the best hotel in Maine to stay at every time we stay there the Hotel fabulous at the pool is the cleanest one I've ever seen
Love the year-round outdoor pool! Due to COVID, some ammenities are not available such as breakfast buffet, hot tub, exercise room, in-room housekeeping services and the restaurant was closed. The breakfast was modified to availability of wrapped pastries, cartons of milk, refrigerated fruit cups, individual cereal containers, yogurt cups, sealed hard cooked eggs and fresh fruit, such as bananas and apples. It was a good substitute, given the times.nSince the restaurant is closed, we searched out and found a couple of great little restaurants with outside dining, Dock's Seafood in S. Portland and The Good Table in Cape Elizabeth.nWe have stayed there multiple times over the years and will continue to make it a favorite destination for a quick get-away relatively close to home.
Tell me why the website says pet friendly but they allow dogs and not cats? How are dogs less destructive than cats? Or less loud? Or less of an allergen? My cat had to stay in a cold car all day and night for a week because they said pet friendly and they aren't. Very, VERY upset. Pet friendly should be taken off their website and changed to dog friendly so nobody else has to keep their cat in a car in November
