Grippy Tannins

We try to get to Portland (& South Portland) a few times a year. We read about Grippy Tannins & decided to give it a shot. We stopped in on a freezing afternoon and had the place to ourselves! Lindsey was super knowledgeable about each of the wines we tried, talked to us about some of the same wine regions we’ve visited and discussed the current market. If you’re in Portland you must stop here for a tasting, we loved it.

Grippy Tannins is an amazing wine store and lounge. Lindsey is the best and super knowledgeable about all wines. I usually just call and tell her what I'm looking for and let her put together a case of her choosing. I've never been disappointed. I also love her champagne selections. It's simply a wonderful experience and I've learned a great deal about wine. A real gem in Portland!

Grippy Tannins is a little gem in downtown Portland! Lindsey is passionate about great tasting wine and it's reflected in her knowledge and expertise. Tell her what you like and she will pick out a fabulous wine that will not disappoint!

Incredible selections in this one of a kind store in all of Maine. You can taste bottles at this retail store before buying. The wines are fantastic and well priced. Beautiful seating area and small bar if you taste in store.
