I recently got the results of my DNA test and found that I'm actually a percentage Swedish. My wife is a much larger percentage Norwegian. When we saw this store on a recent trip to Portland (Maine), we had to stop in and support them! Such an amazing selection of Scandinavian books, housewares, clothing, Moomin merch, food, and so much more! As if that wasn't enough, one of the owners (Tom) was behind the register. He was extremely kind and conversational. Whether you have Scandinavian blood or not, stop in, say hello, and I'm sure you'll find something you can't help but take home with you.
The folks at Simply Scandinavian provide the some of the best customer service that I've experienced while shopping. Period. I love the merchandise in their store and with this level of customer service it's an all 'round great experience! Thank you.
