Power randomly goes out even in beautiful sunny weather. Calls to the department go straight to voicemail. Most useless people in the city.
Utilities/electric are absolutely ridiculous in Rock Falls. There is no consistency nor explanation. One month it could be $100 the next $200 or more, even though nothing has changed in your house. I am so happy to be getting out of city limits.
Called the company to ask why I had received conflicting information in person from another employee. The woman on the phone was extremely rude about the situation at hand, refused to provide a first name or even an employee ID. I asked to speak to a supervisor there and the unknown woman outright refused at first then told me that there is no one else there until 2 days in the future and asked if there was anything else she could help me with. I informed the unknown woman that she had not helped me at all up to this point and the woman hung up on me.nnIt is atrocious that these people have a monopoly for electric and water on the citizens of rock falls. Consider installing solar or wind power and digging your own well
