My husband & I just stumbled across this little known historical site. The guide was very informative & knew her history. So glad to find it open.
History personified in a small town. Loved it. So thankful some folks believe history is worth preserving!
We were greeted warmly, graciously, and with knowledge by a lady attendant. We had not planned well and were unaware that the Cottage could be toured. Her politeness was transporting.nnFor another reason we could not stay, but the promise of a fascinating story makes us want to come again soon.nnA prepared history buff or architecture savant would love this well-appointed authentic reconstructed cottage.
There is really good service i love it!
