On February 17, 2007... Our family had one of the worst experiences in our lives. My husband was in a car accident on HWY 251. The Polo Fire Dept., were the first to respond. My husband was found unresponsive and eventually taken to Rochelle, then Rockford. He suffered a severed spine, broken femur, multiple broken ribs and a closed head injury. He was in a coma for quite some time and when he awoke...he had no clue who we were due to memory loss.nToday marks 8 years since that accident, and not a day goes by that I thank you for everything you did that night for my husband and family.nnI don't know why its taken me so long to say THANK YOU!!nfrom the family of Armando Nambo
