Awesome forest preserve that isn't that crowded. Love the scenery and the beautiful ravines. If you bring your dogs during warm weather please watch out for ticks. It's packed with tons of them. Other than that, in the winter, it's such a great place to work for a walk.
Beautiful , well maintained and free parking.
Ive been back here a few times now, but this is an awesome little afternoon trip. Beach is small but very pretty! Nice and quiet out here.
