This is the only place to rent on the northshore of Chicago! Outstanding customer service, selection, and location. I met a new team member, Gelana, who was amazing. Before walking in, I saw a beautiful XT5 Cadillac, and right after I said hi, she said, would you like to upgrade today. YES! Fantastic car and Gelana could not have been more kind, knowledgeable and responsive. Marcin and his team or the best and now can add Gelana to the people to turn to when you need the best! Highland Park Hertz...do not place else!

Had to get a replacement vehicle due to an insurance claim, their selection wasn't that good. However, staff friendliness gets the 4 stars.

This location does not sanitize cars for Covid between uses. White guy with accent who works there says they do not vacuum or clean vehicles. He couldn’t tell me what protocols are taken to ensure Covid isn’t spread.

This group of unprofessional individuals do not represent the Hertz company or its principles. The unprofessional phone calls and interruptions while attending to my reservation does not bother me, instead what became irritating was: 1. I did not get my contract reviewed prior to leaving. 2 After noting it was a one way, the young man asked “where to” I responded North Carolina. To no extent is North Carolina 120 miles away (as per my contract). A mileage charge I was not expecting nor pre disposed to. 3. Prior to leaving the young man stated to return the car at 3/4 of a tank as that is what I was leaving the parking lot with. As a result to this locations lack of integrity and ethical conduct. I reviewed my own contract in Indianapolis (A fault of my own) and realized the mileage cost. I called to address the mileage cost and the young man stated “120 is your flat rate mileage fee.” Lastly the 3/4 was never entered into the contract instead it states gas is full!! DO NOT RECOMMEND! RUN FAR AWAY! Anybody else is better!
