Always a good trip coming here to this beautiful forest. There are numerous paths that will take you in every direction. Its a good idea to pay attention to your turns as you can get a little lost but it is easy to find your way back. Plenty of small wildlife to watch from a distance and many areas where the forest is open enough to light in light and walk around without hitting branches wherever you go. You most likely will end up on the fox river. Anyone visiting here should come across a little bridge that goes over what used to be a decent sized river but I am not sure if it still has water flow through at certin times of the year. Coming to the bridge is picture perfect and standing on the bridge and looking around is breath taking. I totally suggest any nature lover check this place out! Thank you for reading this review! So far I have over 9k views and that is amazing! Those views keep me writing about the places I visit. You are all the best!

It was quiet and easily accessible. We found a fun foot bridge between the ravines and walked down by the river. Lots of low lands so ensure the ground is frozen or dry if you're planning an adventure.

I took my 2 dogs there for a walk today. I had not been here in years. Will be coming back soon. Loved the walk down to the Fox River. ..pretty easy trail to walk and I'm 67. Highly recommend .

Tekakwitha Woods forest preserve is 65 acres right along the Fox River Trail, is filled with dense oak and maple trees, and rolling hills that lead down toward the river. It's a very managable walk to get to the river, about 10 minutes through the trees - one of the prettiest natural areas of St. Charles. The view of the bending river from the bridge at the bottom of the bike path is enchanting.

A very beautiful area with a nature center. There are trails throughout the woods and a nearby bike trail. A great place to bring your young children.
