Wonderfully compact portrayal of Seneca history (not Seneca until the 50's stop in to see why). Wonderful docent with a lot of local knowledge.
Amazing collection of WW2 artifacts when Seneca was a war production boom town. Also lots of railroad oriented memorabilia. The Blackhawk Chapter of the NRHS participated in the renovation of the station building. Stick around and you may see a local freight trian rumble by as this is an operating CSX branch.
Very interesting, tour guide well-educated.
Really interesting history. Illinois and Michigan Canal era grain elevator, WWII Landing Ship Tank shipyard and more.
Great little site with the history of Seneca. The displays are alphabetical, which makes for a neat, semi-jumbled experience.
