Wow this place is amazing! As I walked into this building I was greeted by Jeffery Adams the director of this center who provided me with a tour of the place. He conveyed to me that Tim Glotzbach who now works at Berea College really improved the state of this building as an arts and crafts exhibit when he managed it a few years ago. Mr. Adams also informed me that the Kentucky School of Craft is now operating as a two year Arts program where students can receive a two year certification in Art Studies by working in the various wood, jewelry, photography, ceramic, blacksmith, and painting studios. High school students, locals, tourists, and College students are welcomed in this area to study, get a tour, or in special cases take classes. On another note, there is also an art exhibit, student lounges, and a library across the street where students can conduct further research on Appalachian art studies.
