DeVry University has been an exciting journey so far. I have had the best help from my professors, tutors and classmates. Everyone is very sweet and helpful. When I first became a student I had the sweetest person help me out with all the questions I had. I was afraid going back to school since I was a single mom, but Ratunda Hicks who is the Senior Admissions Advisor, never gave up on me. She told me exactly what I needed to hear that day. I am so thankful for her words and all the help she is. Even when she doesn't have the answer she finds a way to get get the answer for me or give me contact on who to reach out to. I always enjoy talking to her and I highly recommend going to her if you ever need some answers about DeVry. I was enrolled March of 2019 and so happy to someday be a DeVry University alumni.

I decided to go back to school after being laid off and Ariel Torres a student advisor has been amazing with helping me through this process. He has definitely became my best friend. He has helped me through every step for my future. I can call him anytime and if he doesn’t have the answer he gets me right to the person I need to speak to. Ariel Torres is my MVP!!!

EPIC Excursions Travel (05/19/2020)

I have had one of the best experiences with Devry!!! I have previously attempted my MBA at least 3 times in the past, even with a full ride scholarship offer, but none of those experiences led me to completion. My final attempt was going to be my last offer with Devry, as my employer held a career event and they visited and spoke with many of our employees. After that visit, registration happened so rapidly, I could barely blink and classes had begun. After so far 1 yr and 6 months, I have obtained my HR certification and I am 4 more courses away from my MHRM!!! I can hardly believe it!!! The resources, the staff and the professors and even the students have all been amazing!!! My advisor Mrs. Peters never lets me give up!!! She knows the walks of balancing life with school as an adult learner. It was further amazing to get personally recognized by the Dean of students after the completion of my HR Certification via a personal phone call. They certainly know how to keep you looking forward to greater things and recognizing your accomplishments. If I could take this walk all over again, I would have chosen Devry from the very beginning!!!! However, I am more than blessed to have made that decision and commited myself to it... Can't wait until graduation day!!!!
