The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond for my dogs. They are so patient with one of my dogs who has anxiety issues and offer me advice on ways to help her; they really do care about the well being of my dogs and I couldn't trust anyone more. Their prices are very reasonable and they even tell me if there's a way I can save money with a manufacturer's coupon for food or rewards points system for ongoing prescriptions. Everyone has a great attitude and seems like they all really enjoy what they do. Such a wonderful place - can't say enough about it!

The reason why I gave them 3 stars and the single-handed reason for why I chose to leave this practice, is simply for their lack of patience. I find I’m always rushed, or when I ask questions it comes across as I’m annoying them, or there’s a general lack of empathy which is disheartening. I love my animal like a family member and I want a Veterinarian who understands that. Someone who has patience for me when my dog is sick and I am concerned. Someone who doesn’t make me feel like a nuisance. They don’t give me the warm fuzzy feeling I’m looking for in my animals health care advocate and provider. In case people in the area looking for a vet I’ve heard rave reviews from numerous people about Skycrest Veternarian practice in Long Grove, IL. Best of luck giving your fur baby the best care we can find.

Dr Ruffolo has a land rover, a big house in barrington and makes allot of money as the owner of mt plaines. When I asked her why she billed me for a sample tick medication which stated on the label-complimentary not intended for sale, she told me to find another vet if I had an issue with that. Guess that's why she makes so much money

I can't thank them enough for their compassion and understanding how difficult to pass our 10 year old cat over the rainbow bridge. The staff was thoughtful and caring understanding and so very patient. I cannot recommend them enough for pet care.
