Very friendly staff and are always available to help even during emergencies. The main veterinarian is well knowledged and is very patient and competent, even with our German Shepherd who isn’t always easy to handle! Having tried other animal hospitals in the area, Oak Elm has been the best I’ve experienced. I highly recommend them.
Love, love, love this practice. Our curious cat swallowed some kind of foreign object (netting) and was horribly, horribly sick. The Oak Elm Animal Hospital’s staff and wonderful vets (Dr.Hassan and Dr. Iqbal) did everything they could to help him. It took about 10 days and many treatments, but am thrilled to say that Shadow has made a full recovery. I have complete trust in them with both of our cats. Shadow is officially down to 8 lives! Thank you so much.
Great service and accepted my puppy insurance. Straight forward with price and my pup seems to be ok with the fact that they took one her teeth. Scheduling was also quick and easy for a first time patient. Thanks.
This is an overdue review!!nnWhat I love about this place:n1. The Dr is upfront and will let you know what is necessary and what is notn2. Scheduling is super easy and flexiblen3. Very affordablennTook our kitty Boba because he wasn’t pooping and we took him to a different vet and they couldn’t figure out why and kept telling us to give him time and a week past. Took Boba to Dr.Iqbal and he helped him and now Boba is pooping well. Dr.Iqbal also performed hip dysplasia surgery on him and yes it was expensive but it was affordable compare to other places.nnWe love taking our two kitties to this place even though we have to drive at least 40 min from Chicago! Super friendly staff and both Dr. Iqbal and Dr. Hassan are great to work with.
Wonderful place, doctors that love animals and they truly care, staff is wonderful, I live about to minutes away with 6 different animal hospitals near by but I will travel for them
