Does anyone know if it is legal to let uncollared cats roam the neighborhood? Simply trying to understand our ordinances and could not find out by calling our local police department. I had previously run over and killed a cat that was allowed to roam. If it's okay than fine, if it's not permitted than please collar and leash your pets. Plenty of cat harnesses and fencing materials for keeping cats on your property.
I have grew up in Glenview and the police were alway more than fair to me the older i have gotten the more punishment i have deserved. I have all but one good experience. Even then i was let go with no tickets.

Came here to pick up/pay for Metra parking permit for the wife. The lady behind the glass counter was nice and helpful. Although, they they do close after 5/6pm so you will need to use the phone for service after those hours. Overall, my experience with Glenview Police were very pleasant and helpful.
On 7/28/16, a corrupt female cop violated my rights and I wasn't even a driver of a vehicle. The review won't let me post the whole story. I have a genetic lung condition called pcd and she denied me water for more than three hours. I Should have been hospitalized that night after the phsical trauma she put my body through. She berated me and deserved to lose her badge. Unfortunately, she went unpunished & later on the canceled my tickets because her supervisor realized the mess she created. I could have took her to court and won.
