If you are in the market for a good PT place or are even contemplating it, look no further. I CANNOT overstate how great this Athletico location is! My only regret is not going sooner-I lived with horrible lower back pain and sciatica for months and the team at the Des Plaines Athletico played huge role in my recovery. The entire staff there is wonderful-they make you feel like you're family. Travis at the front desk is awesome-very helpful and and always warm and welcoming Now, when you call to set up your first appointment, you need to ask for Lauren-she is simply the BEST! Lauren took her time at my first appointment, listened to everything I had to say, and instantly I felt that she cared and that her and I were going to be a good team. I looked forward to my sessions with Lauren because not only did I leave feeling better, but it was also fun because it was like hanging out with a friend. Lauren is so warm and friendly and it was so nice to get that added bonus/personal touch during my appointments. Lauren also checked up on me after my therapy was done-I mean, COME ON! This girl is amazing and truly cares! I am SO thankful for my time with Lauren and my entire experience at this Athletico. Cannot recommend highly enough!

In fall of 2020 I hurt my back and was in severe pain!! My doctor recommended I start physical therapy, which I did at Athletico in Des Plaines, IL..nAfter only a few weeks of therapy andnunder the great care of Michelle (just one of Athletico's great staff here) I was notnonly amazed how good my back felt butneven more impressive...I had no pain at all!!! I couldn't believe what Michelle was able to do with me and her ability, compassion, and caring personality was second to none!!!nI would highly recommend Athletico innregards to any kind of physical therapy anyone would need, and because of people like Michelle you owe it to yourself and the care your body needsnto recover to contact Athletico of Des Plaines!!!!nThank You Michelle!!!!

I would recommend the Des Plaines Athletico to everyone. Sorry to say they have taken GREAT care of my wife, son and I multiple times. Mel and Mariola are great and work to get you back to 150%. They take the time to let you know why each exercise is important and making sure they push you enough to make you respond correctly. You leave at the end with a T-shirt and a home program. HIGHLY recommend them

Had limited mobility of my shoulder and significant pain. After the initial evaluation Mariola developed a plan and within the first week i was already seeing increased range of motion and eventually a reduction in the pain. Great staff and overall nothing but a great experience. Hopefully i don't need physical therapy again, but if i do i already know where to go. Thanks again!

I would HIGHLY recommend Des Plaines Athletico for your physical therapy needs. I have been having chronic low back pain for months due to my work from home environment. I scheduled an assessment with Melissa (Mel) and was immediately impressed with her professionalism and knowledge. She listened to my issues and concerns then tailored exercises to target my pain. We worked together for a few weeks at Athletico and she also provided exercises to do at home to help reduce/relieve pain. My back pain is now gone!! This is huge for me as I have been in pain since April.nnI also want to mention how welcoming all of the staff is from the moment you arrive and they prioritize keeping their facility clean and sanitized at all times. I felt completely safe and comfortable during my visits.nnA huge THANK YOU again to Melissa and staff!!
