Pretty good as United Clubs go. Wish the City of Chicago would allow them to start fixing real food again. Seems crazy to pay for a membership just to eat snacks. Nice folks in the club and solid internet service.

Just your run of the mill airline lounge. They charge for brand name liquor, which was new for me... Delta usually gives it to me for free... Had to pay $9 for a Captain Morgan and Coke... Cheaper than the airport bar, but still a cash grab. The lounge was crowded and a bit noisey... Still much better than the concourse, so 4 out of 5 it is!

It's tricky to judge facilities in times of a pandemic as they probably won't be able to provide their full potential - so keep that in mind. Not in the same league as those opulent Middle Eastern carriers' lounges but pretty decent. Now, given that this is the only lounge that is open for those flying United premium class (Polaris and other United Clubs seem temporalily closed), it's an excellent option to socially distance. But what really turned me off was they let sick employees work in these times. One of their staff had a serious cough and although he was masked, he was coughing and sniffling away in the common areas. He didn't even bother to leave the area or go the restroom. Why would you allow this?? The facility wasn't being disinfected as frequently as you'd hope - carry your own wipes to clean your space. I found the glass-separated work areas useful. I'd avoid the close proximity cushioned seats though. There are periods of highish occupancy but you should be able to find your spot - there is ample space, including phone rooms. In terms of food, a meh chicken buffalo wrap, a can-do quinoa salad, cookies and ramen cup noodles can be good enough if your next proper meal is a few hours away. But again, nowhere near what you'd get in better lounges. I had visited on a really cold day and maybe that's why the heating struggled to keep the lounge warm. Is their heating not prepared? Take a jacket with you just in case. There is no shower but your standard stalls and sinks. Free Wifi is good. There is a bar and live music on occasions. Overall, go for it - because this is your best option at present.
