A gentleman from Pace came to an estate my grandmother is the executor of and is clearing out and said a statue was worth $200. It appraised between $3,000-$5,000. Said the tea set was silver plated and it even says sterling silver imprinted on the bottom. The more she tells me the more I'd like to slap him in the face.nHe was trying to take advantage of my grandmother with his false information and 50% commissions. Downtown at a reputable auction house they are at 25% and below.nI would never trust them to step anywhere near anything that isn't scrap metal. How dare you guys treat anyone like that. You shouldn't even be in business with that nonsense.
