I have been to visitations before at the Des Plaines location at least twice before. But now our loving immediate family member has passed. The visitation and funeral arrangements were completed at Oehler. The rooms are a good size. The facilities are very nice and clean. Henry and staff helped to make the service very memorable. There was one oversight that I know of but it was corrected without causing a problem. Thank you so much for helping our family. Everything turned out beautifully.

Oehler Funeral services helped our family with personalized care of our mother’s final journey two years ago. Then when our dad passed away this year, again Mr. Henry Lee provided meticulous care of dad when our family was engulfed with grief. Mr. Lee guided the visitations, commute to the cemetery, then the grave side burial service. He went above and beyond to make sure all the details were taken care of. We are most grateful for Oehler Funeral Service and Mr. Lee’s support during these painful times.

This was my first painful and heartbreaking experience that I had to take control of when my father passed away. I was so lost and didn't know what to do. I called Oehler Funeral Home and they were very nice and comforting to talk to but was still skeptical because I wasn't sure if I chose the right place or am I getting ripped off, but I still went ahead and set up the arrangement contract and thought I had some time to get things together before my dad passed... I was wrong. My father passed away the day after I signed the contract and couldn't think of what to do next. Then I received a call from the funeral director Mr. Henry Lee and after our meeting, I felt relieved. He explained everything to me from the contract down to what I need to do. Everyone of the staff has been so welcoming and comforting , Henry and Melanie always call or email to see if I approved of how everything looks .and see if I want to add anything else. I loved how they gave me advice on their experiences of working there and giving me such a touchy moment about my father and bringing his favorite hobby which was fishing. Henry said I can bring my fathers fishing pole and he can display it for everyone to see.. I was crying just the thought of this idea. I can't even explain how painless they made this for me. I didn't have to worry about anything! I am so grateful that I chose the right place for my dad. The place is beautiful both inside and outside. If... knock on wood... If I have to do this somewhere in the very far far away future, I will definitely call Oehler Funeral Home.nnThank you,nTiffany Keo

Our family has used Oehlers for many years. Mike and Ken treated us with a high level of respect and compassion. Most recently, upon the passing of my father, Mike sat down and walked us through the entire process. We did not feel rushed and every precaution was taken regarding Covid-19. Highly recommended.
