My mom was quoted $220 to change two lights. His brother came and they charged her $315 for labor. I’m not a fan of changed prices for elderly people. However, he did go to buy the actual light bulbs for her.
I have a 1927 house and needed a newer model fan/light (with retractable fan blades) installed in one of the rooms. I have installed many fans myself but when I looked at this particular challenge it was going to be more than I could do given the old style mounting box in the ceiling. I called Sklena Electric and they came out within a few days. Both Tom and Jim are very responsive and polite. The job was done very quickly , very professionally, and at a very reasonable rate. I will definitely call them with any future electrical needs.
