A-1 Suburban Plumbing

I called to inquire about the service and the clerk Tracy was very rude and ignorant. She breathed and made strange noises in the phone as I asked her about my upcoming appointment. Every time I tried to speak, she spoke over my voice and cut me off. Please don’t use this service because you can not even ask a question to get clarity on the jobs that they are supposed to complete. The woman was very incompetent and because I wanted to know about the job and she was confused, she acted unprofessional. She actually said “Whooooo” loudly in the phone. I believe that they have been at my home before and we had the same issues that we are having to this day. When I asked for a manager or supervisor, she refused to transfer me and then stated that it was her company. They don’t want business. Be careful. Find another company that is reputable. I would love to give 0 stars.

Would give zero stars if possible. Had issues with them since they were assigned to me through the Nipsco home warranty plan. First I was told I'd be receiving their call within 4 hours. After 6 hours I finally called them, turns out they were calling my work phone and didn't even bother to ask for me by name. Then of course, by that time, it was too late to get service on the same day. Someone was finally able to come out at 7pm the following day. The guy came in, established that my sewer needed to be rodded out and said that he'd have to come back with another guy to get it done. Told me he was going outside to contact scheduling and would come back in to let me know when they could come back. Over a half hour later he came back in and told me that I would have to call scheduling between 9 and 10 on the next day. He did absolutely nothing for us. So I call back on Saturday, get their answering service and leave a message. Gave it at least an hour and didn't hear back so I called again. Then they tell me they're waiting on permission to rod out the sewer?? That was Saturday. Come today, Monday, I still haven't heard from them. Called the office and got the answering service again, left yet another message. In the mean time I called back the number of the technician that came out. He told me he'd call the office and have them call me. It's been a couple hours and I haven't heard anything from them. Finally called Nipsco back and am having a different company come out. Very unprofessional. Who knows, maybe they do actually do good work, but I wouldn't know since none was actually done.

Jon was very professional doing the job requested today. We are so happy that we heard from A1 Suburban Plumbing through Nicor Home Solutions. Great customer service too!

This service provider has great technicians like Patrick but, the office staff are extremely rude and not customer friendly at all.

The Receptionist, Tanisha has very bad customer service skills, so I asked to speak to her supervisor. Tracey, the supervisor has customer service skills just as bad. These individuals are being paid, it's awful and they need to give their positions to someone else, whom I'm sure would welcome the job d/t the unemployment rate.This company was subcontracted to me thru Nicor Home Solutions and they will get my complaint also.
