I also did not have a very positive experience with this place of business. I successfully bid on an Ebel watch at a local fundraiser. Brought in the watch, never worn, all the original warranty info and box. Kind of like the same experience as another customer. Asked me where I got it, told him and he said he wasn’t interested. Said thank you and walked out. No customer service skills whatsoever. Had the watch appraised, worth almost $6000. Decided to keep it and now wear it all the time. How do you find an honest watch/gold/coin dealer these days???

I wanted to cash in some silver, and was offered less than one third of the melt value. Either they were trying to rip me off, or they just don't know how to figure the value of metals. How sad. Don't waste your time with this place. There are plenty of honest coin dealers out there that will pay a fair price.

The gentleman I worked with was fantastic! He spent tons of time with me, was very knowledgeable and patient as I brought in tons of coins. I was nervous going in there after reading some of these reviews and honestly I had a great experience. I'm very comfortable going back in the future. Thank you!!!

This place is AMAZING!!!!! Warm friendly atmosphere. Very clean, smells great. I called prior to going there. Jim answered and he was very polite and extremely helpful, even giving me advice on what to look for in my coins for more value. He sat down and looked thru every coin, offered me refreshments while we sat and talked like old friends. Extremely patient and friendly. I left completely happy with my transaction. I will asbsolutey recommend and revisit.

WARNING : RIPOFF ARTISTS :Do NOT do business here unless you like the feeling of being ripped off ! I went in to this shop on 8/30/12 to sell an American Eagle 1-oz. gold coin , mint condition. The current spot price of gold was exactly $1655 per oz. This fat joker offers me 1620 , while another local shop had just offered me 1675 ! (No, that is not a misprint...1675 is what the other shop offered, and Bozo offers me 1620 !). Apparently he thought I wasn't aware of the current market and he thought he could get away with one on me. OOPS !! In the current gold market, ALL reputable HONEST coin dealers will give at least spot, and many will give over spot depending on what kind of coin you have to sell. Needless to say, I left the place in a hurry and went to the other HONEST dealer to do business with him ! The other dealer told me that he has heard many complaints about the thief at Orland Jewelry & Coin.
