Thank you so much!nnMy husband had called around several funeral homes in the south suburban area and we decided to go with Adduci-Zimny Funeral Home. John was compassionate and accommodating over the phone. Besides, my family is from Posen. It’s easy to get to from all the interstates/tollways.nnI met with John the day after my brother passed away suddenly. I was comfortable and at ease during our meeting. I felt like I was talking to an old friend who understands what I’m going through. He was very helpful in the decisions I made as far as services, cremation; selection of the prayer cards and flowers. He was transparent in letting me know the costs of services they provide and was great at making suggestions for the details for the wake and service.nnI had several edits to the online obituary and it was never a problem to revise. The emails I had sent were answered on a timely basis.nnSince my brother was a musician, the online obituary had personal touches with a musical theme. The slideshow for display during the visitation was so easy to do and it was perfect. We had brought in our own CDs for the music and everything was done with reverence and respect. The staff is accommodating, down to the smallest details.nnThe newly remodeled funeral home is beautiful and helps you feel comfortable and at ease. The staff at Adduci-Zimny always checked on my family to make sure everything is ok and that we have everything we need.nnI’ve subscribed to “A Year of Daily Grief Support” emails and they really are helpful to read every day.nnI miss my brother terribly, but I find comfort in knowing that his services were done beautifully.nnThank you John and Angela for your support and compassion to our family during a very difficult time.n- Rose

John and Angela were incredible. John was there to receive my call when my dad passed away in November. I called and was kind of stressed already because my wife had gone into the hospital 3 day prior with covid19 and was on a ventilator. John immediately understood and took the weight and worry about my dad's arrangement off my shoulders and began handling it. He worked with me and my sister to work out a way to give my dad a beautiful and dignified service. I was able to go see my dad on a monday night alone at the funeral home because I did not have my covid test results yet and could not mix with others. i was also able to witness the church service via internet in my car on my ipad outside the church, drove with them to the cemetery and stood a little away from the others...but I was there... in the rain, and so were John and Angela with their video equipment and all. Our out of town family and friends could see it all with us. I was very nice. My sister could not be happier with the service we received from Adduci Zimny and she has been known to be very picky and hard to please! That says a lot. Thank you guys, Dennis S.

EXCELLENT ATTENTION TO DETAILS...nFor example:n1) We provided one of my mother's favorite lipsticks -- and, the mortician painted her fingernails to match the lipstick with the funeral home's nail polish.n2) We received a remembrance card in the mail on my mother's birthday months after her services.nThe only complaint...nI understand that the facility is older; but, wheelchair accessibility should be installed in the building -- especially since the deceased's friends (and family) are potentially elderly.

One of the new funeral directors, John Ligda, has a great empathy for those of us who have lost someone. The funeral home's exterior is nice but it is the staff on the inside that makes difficult times a little easier. I cannot recommend them enough. James Busk
