DAAP is a 5 year program promoted to include 5 CO-OPs. Yet DAAP students go without a CO-OP opportunity and are forced to try to fill their semester with electives, because there was no CO-OP available. University of Cincinnati, please promote DAAP to prospective employers, make connections and recruit CO-OP opportunities. Unemployment is at an all time low.
Premium quality design school! Ranked top 10 worldwide by employers in the design industry. Cute people, great program, work VERY hard and this place can be your platform to rocket off to lead the world of design.
The library is sublime and, very appropriately, a great piece of contemporary architecture.
Amazing place! Legendary Professors with tons of experience. Smart students. Lots of room for creativity and fun. Best choice in my life.
Bureaucratic campus of UC with arrogant people running it. They would not even transfer studio credits from another UC campus I graduated from in 2004. Floorplan of DAAP is also mazelike in various places. Overall, inferior to my experience at Raymond Walters College. I ended up wasting ~$10K of loans on DAAP and could not graduate on time, so I lost aid in the Great Recession and was forced into another college. >:(
