The food is always great at Penn Station. The staff are serious about masks and wearing gloves. The Granite City location added a drive up window. Thanks guys!
Best sandwiches in my opinion ever! Best cookies and they got the best lemonade. Little pricey though.
Delicious. Just way too expensive. For one person to eat. Regular size Steak and Cheese, regular size fry, large Lemonade. $16. It really is amazing food. Woulda gave 5* if it was $12.
The gentleman who took my order was so patient, as I tried to figure out what my 8 year old wanted and called my husband to get his order! Food was delicious! Very nice very fresh!
Went to Penn Station in Granite City IL last night for dinner. My total would have been $28.53. WARNING to ALL: I witnessed a manager eating at a table right across from the counter where I paid. The manager then finished his meal, walked through the food making area without mask while drinking a soda. He then put hand sanitizer on his hands and started to take my sandwiches out of the oven. I stopped him and asked him to please wash his hands before touching my food ( they do not wear gloves). He then tried to educate me that sanitizer was better than soap & water. I replied with I just watched you eat a meal will you please wash your hands. He said no. I could go on but the bottom line is the manager on duty never washed his hands, I got a refund,no I did not accept the food and I will NEVER return to that location. Even before COVID in the food service industry it is a GOLDEN RULE to wash your hands to prevent cross contamination. The RGM would not speak to me today,stating he was too busy. Too busy to control food safety? At the end of the day eat at this location at your own risk COVID or no COVID.
