I love to come here and play board games with the kids with mixed up cereals! The kids always have a great time; and it’s always a great place to find a neat book.
Nice place great haunted house
Great coffee! Such a fun place to hang out with friends or family to play games, drink coffee and eat cereal.
Brenda has come a long long way with this vision. It started as a bookstore with additional shops that sold a variety of things and at one time catered to local artists.nBut as with all things successful, she pushed forward and added on and took things out to make something good better.nNow you can read, write, buy music, even have a bowl of cereal and play a game from a variety of board games.nShe's far from finished though. She's going to keep pushing forward and evolving.
The addition of the board game shop/cafe is a great touch! The owner/managers/employees are really nice and welcoming. The prices are thankfully well done for the area by not being overly high but also not bottom barrel low. There's easily over 100 different board games and styles so you're not going to get bored by just playing monopoly and clue. The fact they have great coffee selections as well as cold drinks like smoothies(berry being my favorite) as well as cereal and snacks is a great addition to a hopefully growing community of downtown GC. Kudos to the people trying to bring this area back to life.
