The event Big Mike refers to was an unfortunate event where we loaned our parking lot to a University. They were the ones that took it upon themselves to make the decision about the restrooms. We learned an important lesson from this and will have someone present for any event from now on. Big Mike I'm very embarrassed that this situation took place and we regret you feeling anything but welcome at our church. Thanks for bringing this to our attention so we can do better with sharing our facilities in the future. Will Stanley, Ministry Assistant GFBC

We visited goreville for the solar eclipse. This church was charging for parking and would only allow members to even set foot in the grass. This place sits on several acres of land and they would not even let you cut across the grass if you are not a member. Here is a picture of a sign they posted on the roped off area. What a Christian place! Also they ran out all the members from inside who were trying to use the bathroom.
