From the first time I walked into this place I felt welcomed. I had a lot of questions about starting training but Robert and Diana were so kind and helpful. They took the time to show me around and answer my questions and encourage me! As a business owner myself, I gravitate towards small businesses. The staff at Hap’s has certainly reinforced this.nnThen I took my discovery flight with Dale. He was clearly very passionate about flying and was really encouraging me in my goals in even just 20 minutes. After I had my flight physical, I went in and asked if there was anything I needed to do to make things happen faster, and Christa was very helpful and accommodating. She is so friendly and passionate and she cracks me up. Always pleasant to interact with her.nnSince my flight physical I have had a thousand questions and I’m trying not to be a nuisance and every time I call or stop in, everyone is just as friendly and helpful as the day I met them. I had a question about the FAA getting my application processed and Christa took it one step further and got in contact with someone who is going to try to get me connected with someone at the FAA. She went to bat for me.nnOn my first day of training I met Glenn. At first I was intimidated, because I’m not STEM gal. I’m a creative by profession and nature. Glenn was great to fly with! I liked that he got me out of my comfort zone, dignified what knowledge I have, and challenged me.nnThe next day I got a letter from the FAA wondering about my few incidents of motion sickness. I was mildly annoyed, but I wasn’t sure what to do, so I called Hap’s and Christa was very empathetic and very helpful. Speaking with her is always so encouraging.nnEvery part of my experience with Hap’s has been absolutely amazing. This is the kind of customer service every business should have, and I feel like I could even take a few pointers in running my own business from them. If you’re looking for a place to learn to fly, go to Hap’s and give them all your money because it’s money well spent. They genuinely care about the people they serve and they are truly in love with what they do. I cannot believe how well I have been treated. It has exceeded every expectation I had about getting into aviation. I’m humbled.
