Called, listened to an operator for 2 minutes, was then asked to hold, waited almost 15 minutes. Decided to hang up and try again. After 3 minutes,nsome lady picked up and I asked my question. She sounded frustrated and confused so she asked me to hold while she finished her work and before I could say anything, she put me on hold. I wasn’t going to keep waiting so I hung up. Ridiculous. 0/5. Don’t have the option to call if you aren’t going to answer or be pleasant.nUpdate: went there, waited 15-20 minutes after scheduled appointment time and ended up being told that the drivers license couldn’t be updated because we didn’t have a birth certificate with us. Apparently a passport, bills saying our address, and a current/valid iowa drivers license isn’t enough to prove we live in iowa (and have always lived in iowa). If they would have answered the phone in the first place, this wouldn’t have been a problem.

Amazing! Made the online appt for sons to get permits. Did online test. Walked in - was seen EARLIER than our appointment because they were running ahead (have you EVER heard of that?). Quick, easy process - friendly worker Michael - BEST DOT experience I have ever had! Impressive!

Just awful. I get that they're a drivers license station and cant please everyone, but i have been coming here for 7 years. Just awful.
