Worst experience ever with any company in my lifetime !!! Be extremely cautious, she might threaten you to call police if you try to request something (politely of course) what she does not want to hear (like, Mam, Could you please transfer my policy to another agent? (that is what the new agent asked me to do)). Seriously? :D She does not want to face any question from customer, becomes extremely rude, hangs up phones abruptly. My goodness, can not believe any business person could do that. I have state farm for more than 3 years. I changed my car to a new one in the mid of a 6-month term, when called after-hour number of SF to establish the policy they said there will be only

She is good until you ask her clarification on rate, then she becomes extremely rude. Too much! Only customers of more than 2-3 year old will understand this situation. In the beginning she was good.

Not trustworthy, not helpful, not on your side, and certainly not good neighbors.nnShe's great until there's a problem, then she is rude and mean and conveniently forgets your name. For 20 years I paid in and only had one small claim-I was a model home owner! So when water poured in through the roof from ice dams and I watched my house get destroyed I thought the people I had trusted and paid for 20 years would be there to help. Instead I got just the opposite. It was downright hurtful when I was offered about 10% of the cost to repair. It was a nightmare and after 2 years of calls and emails they finally sent me an additional check that only brought the compensation up to about 30%. There wasn't a construction company around that would touch this job for anywhere close to the estimated cost State Farm suggested. Three different quoted at over twice the cost and some wouldn't even come out to look once they heard State Farm was involved.nnAfter all this do you think Pat Brown offered to come look at the damage, even help over the phone? And after 20 years of paying in?? No, in fact I was told that I had to handle it with Sate Farm and that Pat Brown had conveniently told them she remembered nothing.nnThe lawyer I spoke with said that attorneys refer to State Farm as the Snake Farm. The only way you'll get money from them is if you sue. Not the kind of place I want protecting my house and home!

Pay Brown has served as our insurance agent for many years. Throughout those years we have had various claims that are always handled quickly and thoroughly. Any time I have a question and I call the office everyone who answers is so accommodating and helpful and timely! We have moved away from Ames but would never leave her Angency as it is the best around!!
