Ames Fire Department Station 1

These guys are awesome! We were having issues with our smoke detectors and I called just hoping they would help me trouble shoot how to fix the problem. Instead of helping me over the phone, a team of three guys drove out to my house and helped me determine the issue was faulty wiring in one of my smoke detectors. They even helped install two new units while fixing the wiring problem.Talk about above and beyond service! My dog was also a big fan of them and they loved playing with him, too.nnEarlier in the year, they also visited the in-home daycare both of my kids attend and they had an absolute blast.nnWe are very fortunate to have this type of unit here in the Ames Community. Thanks for all you do!

What awsome bunch of guys! We are from Blue Earth MN and brought our son Ames who is 5 to town to come to the town with his name. First place he wanted to go was a fire hall to get a picture of him with a truck with his name on it. He's a future firefighter! Did not know how it would go to just show up at the hall but the men were so kind to me kids gave them stickers and told stories! They had so much fun!
