In spite of the current controversy surrounding policies of the greater Untied Methodist denomination as a whole, THIS particular church is full of accepting, welcoming, warm, friendly people, both congregation and staff. Currently, due to COVID, there are no live Sunday services, unfortunately, but this is a temporary situation. If you're looking for a church home in Story County do yourself a favor and contact CUMC.

This past summer my family switched denominations to join Collegiate. The pastors are positive and supportive. We see a lot of smiles when we are there. The sanctuary is beautiful. The guest musicians, choirs and bell choirs are amazing. The Sunday school teachers are really kind to our kids. We love the families with young children group for our elementary school aged kids and we meet often for fun and service projects.

I’ve tried countless time to see what it would take to be come a member. I’ve spoken and email Lindsay. Spoke to her last week and still nothing,nIt’s very apparent your congregation is full and your not interested in taking on new members until one drops out or passes away.nMy step sister and her husband have there ashes in tomb there.nI can’t believe a church your size wouldn’t be interested in welcoming new members.nI’ve heard all the excuses from being without a pastor to the women I emailed before that she was to busy at a out of town conference and told me she’d get back to me.nIs this the way the you treat people?

Great, progressive church with amazing opportunities to serve! I absolutely love it here. After church on Sunday they have free lunch for college students. They also have free donuts and coffee in between services and everyone is extremely friendly and kind to you. The sanctuary is extremely beautiful as well
