Visiting the arsenal was an awesome experience! A great place to spend an afternoon. The island is gorgeous, historical, and filled with rich history; both Native American and Western European. An active Army base with a museum that is open to the public. Entrance to the museum is free, but donations are appreciated. The museum is packed with fascinating artifacts, surprising data, and fun filled facts pertaining to the base, the military, and the history of the land.
