Nice local shop to go to and look around.

I'm pretty shocked by all these rave reviews. The books and cds, dvds are extremely overpriced. You can find books at five and six dollars online and at the Bam bookstore on sale and even the new ones are often under or at twenty, you can find great finds of Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen on Wal Mart's web site. The books at this store are often nearly at the thirty dollar mark. They also have propaganda items, extreme and unfounded religious things. It bothers me they don't have seasons of the Duggars or Joyce Meyer DVDs but they have I love Lucy which isn't even Christian. I love secular shows but not in a Christian shop. The whole environment and some of the staff members are stuffy . One woman in particular is unkind and only is nice when you are purchasing things. She is all cheery Christian smiles when you are browsing. But when you leave empty handed because well, I'm not bankrolling, she gets moody. She is pretty and well dressed, but I think she looks down on you when your dressed down. She told me I looked nice one day when I was all glammed up which was sweet, but then one day I came in with black nail polish and a rock concert shirt and she acted like I was possessed by the devil. Totally legalistic bull. Then we wonder why society debunks the Christian faith.

A little bit of everything in this little Main Street shop! Worth a stop!

Excellent Selection and staff! Julie and crew are very knowledgeable and can probably get what you want/need, if they don't already have it. Great place to stop in and visit too!
