I was very disappointed and uncomfortable during my visit due to the assistant not wearing a mask. This lack of concern for their clients and unprofessionalism continued at the end of my visit when she started complaining and mocking another client while I was in the room. This is not the first time this has happened, so I assume this disrespect for their clients is a regular occurrence. I enjoyed Dr. Rhoden and appreciated her consideration and respect, so I will be going to see her from now on in Waukee where the staff are more educated and considerate.

We took our 3 dogs to her clinic in story city Iowa to have nail's trimmed down and it was HORRIBLE! Never again will I take my animals back to this veterinary clinic. My dogs are very good when they have their nails done and not ever so much as a peep from them until they were having their nails trimmed at this horrible place , which I only went to on short notice , my mistake. I was not aloud back in the room while my dogs had this was done , why I don't know???? I have always been able to at my normal vets and my poor dogs were crying so bad I honestly almost went back to the room they were in. I would not recommend ever going to this clinic EVER!!! There staff is horrible with animals and not once did the vet walk back to look at what all the crying was about. Never again!!!!

I've been taking my cats here ever since I moved to Ames, IA. Dr Brenda Bright is excellent! They offer mobile pet visits and have helped my cats and cat sitters while I've been out of the state and country numerous times over the years. Last year my giant black cat died and Dr Bright not only came to my home on a Sunday but she also followed up personally with me to let me know the results of his autopsy and to see how my other cats and I were doing with our grieving process. I love that they make house calls and that they care so well for all of us. They've even partnered with other veterinarians in the area to make sure my cats have had all the medications and treatments they need. I can't recommend them enough! They offer exceptional service and clearly care deeply for animals and people. ❤ufe0f
