If you are looking for a classy Persian restaurant in West LA I would recommend Shaherzad. I came here with a date and he loved the food so much! The portions are just ridiculously huge we took 2 take out bags home! The servers were very friendly. I give it 4 stars as the server did order the wrong rice for us, Cherry pollo which does not go well with ghormeh sabzi at all!
The food at Shaherzad is truly exceptional... If you doubt me, order any of the meat dishes, try the Shirin Polo (an unbelievably favorable sweet yellow rice dish with orange peel, almonds, pistachios, saffron and rose water) sip on a glass of hot water with fresh mint (nana) or alternate bites of raw white onion with fresh bakes crispy bread (is it nan or lavash?, I always forget to ask!)
