Chasing laurels was amazing! They were super sweet and patient with my daughter on her birthday ride! Sarah, the riding instructor, was so kind! I really enjoyed watching my daughter live her dream to learn about, and how to ride horses. We have been going to Chasing Laurels for a year now. My oldest daughter does private lessons. She has gained a lot of confidence and knowledge about horses. Her gains in confidence have bled through to her social life at home and school. Riding has helped tremendously with her anxiety and the horses always seem to calm her. Most of our private lessons have been taught by Sarah. Sarah is amazing! She is encouraging and gives great constructive positive feedback. She is very kind and clearly knows what she is doing.nnChase the owner is very kind and works very hard for horses, students, and employees to have a positive experience. Her prices are fair and comparable to many of the other stables out there. I found lesson times to be flexible and I have always had great response time for messages or communication, unlike some other stables I have tried to contact. If you have a child who is interested in horse riding, Chasing Laurels is where you want to go.

Sorry, this review was meant for a different boarding area. When I did a search's for pine hollow the information for chasing laurels came up instead. as an apology, because I am not sure how to delete it I gave it a 4 star review.

We had our daughter’s 4th birthday party at Chasing Laurels and we had a great time! The horses were very gentle and the instructors were very accommodating for our preschool aged guests. Chase took time talking about horses and what the kids would do before they started grooming and riding. When it was time to ride, her patience and encouragement were noticeable as all the preschoolers chose to ride at least one time; two of them had never been on a horse and are very timid and one had only ridden a pony once. Our daughter was made to feel very special for her birthday, with party decorations, a lot of ride time and a special gift from the horses. Chase helped her do some “tricks” as she felt comfortable (riding side saddle and backwards) and she has not stopped talking about her birthday (or Sabrina the horse) since!

Chase is a competent, kind, patient instructor. I was impressed by her demeanor with my children and the horses. She was also generous with her time and involving my other children in their sisters' lesson. My child who took the actual lessons was calm around Chase and took her instructions well. Although unexpected, my child even had the opportunity to ride during her first lesson. The horses were gentle and accustomed to kid exposure. The barn is easily accessible and restrooms available which i appreciated. I highly recommend Chase and Chasing Laurels!
