Aris Yannopoulos MD - Hartford Orthopedic Surgeons

I saw Dr. Yannolpoulos after a car accident that injured my shoulder in 2014. The shoulder was very painful, and my range of motion very limited. Dr. Y sent me to physical therapy with little result. He sent me back to PT for several more weeks. When that failed to improve my shoulder, I requested he order an MRI. He refused. The last time I saw him, he told me there really wasn’t anything wrong with my shoulder, that I didn’t have a frozen shoulder,that he sent me to PT more sessions than any of his other patients, and that it was probably my fibromyalgia that was causing the pain. I was sobbing at this point. I called my primary who sent me to another orthopedist. This doctor examined me and asked, “Have you ever heard of a frozen shoulder?”. He ordered an MRI, and yes, I had a frozen shoulder. I was sent for more PT, but this time specifically for this diagnosis, and I eventually regained 80% of my range of motion. I would never recommend this doctor.

I have had a herniated disc for 7 years and finally decided to have surgery on Aug 1st. It was the best thing I ever did. Having Dr. Yannopoulos and his asst Diana talk to me and help me feel comfortable with the surgery was the best. I would recommend Dr. Yannopoulos to anyone. I am not in any pain anymore, so happy I did the surgery.

Very short in my first visit, didn't have the best first impression in regards to bedside manner, but this guy knows his stuff. Successive visits were better personality-wise, and he probably saved my life. Have visited the Manchester and Rocky Hill offices, both are great. Entire staff is helpful and professional.

Dr. Yanno was extremely pragmatic and professional. His diagnoses was spot on, and his recommended treatment for my neck injury was exactly what was needed.

Best surgeon and MD I've ever had. He Diagnosed me correctly prior to my MRI. If I needed anything he was there to help along with his medical assistant Dianna. Will always go to Dr. Yannpoulos if needed in the future. As a nurse I can say he is qualified and trusted.
