This museum is very interesting! My only qualm is that there isn't detailed information on the walls which I find easier and quicker. You have to call a phone number to learn anything which there is about 70 of.
Loved it.
It was great fun and really interesting. Beautiful set out and the history was well presented. And you can't beat the price. I highly recommend it.
This place is a must see and is amazing. You won't be disappointed. The selection of gowns and capes and crowns to look at is wonderful. Your jaw will drop and you'll feel the need to come back for Mardi Gras. The staff was incredibly friendly and the museum was well maintained.
We stopped by today because we were wanting to learn more about the history of Mardi Gras, this museum has lots to offer, it can take about 2 hours to do the whole tour, they have a phone service you can use to have a guided tour, prices are reasonable, $8 for adults, $3 for kids and $6 for military or seniors. I recommend stopping by if you are visiting Mobile!
