Not many A12 Oxcarts were built and one is here inside the aircraft hanger on full display with the engine pulled and on display too. Great little aircraft museum in the shadow of the Mighty Alabama and the also really cool Drum.
The Alabama was great but the aircraft collection they have here far exceeded my expectations. They have obscure planes that I have never expected to actually see in person like the A-12 and YF-17.nCertainly worth a visit and I would sure like to go again and budget more than 3 or 4 hours like we did the time we did go.
Very nice aircraft collection. It was so cool to see a blackbird so close.
I great add-on to the USS Alabama display.
Very interesting place with lots of aircraft and vehicles to look at and learn about. Family friendly place
