I’m surprised this place has been getting 5 stars lately. The service is terrible, not because the hosts and servers are horrible, no, it’s because they are extremely under staffed. I feel so bad for them. The host better be getting payed extra because that girl is literally doing everything. She shouldn’t be doing everything if she is a host. I’ve been here often, and I keep coming only because there aren’t as many brunch options in the area. Once you are seated, they will take about 10-15 mins to bring out your water or drink. Your food will be brought out cold because your server is all over the place, and by the time he/she gets to the kitchen your food was already sitting there for a while. I wish you the best of luck when you go there, trust me, it’s not worth a 45 min wait. Food is tasty but nothing real amazing.

I've visited Another Broken Egg Cafe several times since I moved to the area in 2017 and I can see why it is a local favorite for many Fairhope/Daphne folk. On a typical morning, there can be a wait of up to 30 minutes, much longer if it's a holiday. Luckily, they allow you to call ahead to join the wait-list to save you time. If you don't mind eating at the bar DO IT! You get seated much quicker and you get the added benefit of faster drink service for both normal refills and the yummy mimosas! The food here is amazing. I'm not a native Southerner, so I typically can't stand grits one bit. But their city grits. Oh, the city grits! I could go on and on about the city grits! Cheesy, sprinkled with bacon, tomato, and green onion. I try to replicate it at home and have yet to succeed. If you don't like grits, this side dish may change your mind, too. I can't say enough good things about Another Broken Egg. Go there! I even hear you can enjoy mimosas while you wait to be seated (wink-wink).

We loved our meal! I think it was the best shrimp and grits I ever had. I can't wait to visit the one near me.

Nice upscale restaurant with good atmosphere. Expect to pay $15 for breakfast. Serve Simply Orange juice.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in the country. Whenever I come back home for the holidays or vacation. My wife and I always make time to swing by here at least once. My wife is celiac and they offer a variety of gluten-free options.
