Really great place to shop for musical instruments and music related items!!! They carry everything. They have a repair department with Master Techs and offer reasonably priced lessons for musicians of various levels of expertise. The staff that I work with when I shop at Bailey's are Kevin and Erskine - but all of the staff are efficient and helpful. Kevin is presently fabricating some custom guitar cables/cords for me that I couldn't find on the open market. So if there is something you need and can't find it you may need to have it built, or if you need a modification to your equipment check with Kevin. He just may be able to help you. If you have never visited this store you need too!!! I highly recommend it!!! Tell them Jim sent you!!!
Bailey is okay because they have great gear. I used to go in all of the time. The only thing I wished they would change is the way their staff acts to people coming in. Its almost like there is a fear that someone will snatch a guitar and make a run for it. I have the same guy come back and check on me every 2 minutes and it just gives me anxiety. Once I was kicked out for playing on guitars for 5 minutes. The owner came and said they are trying to keep the strings fresh. Great store but staff could be a little better.
Bailey Brothers is IMHO the very best music store in the State and maybe further. When in need this is where I call.
