Compared to other malls in the state, Southeast and other parts of the country, the Riverchase Galleria is mediocre. Not enough security inside or outside along with an outdated appearance makes most of your shopping experience less than pleasant. Other malls in the state are upgrading there look, adding newer stores, newer restaurants and at the same time keeping you safe with constant security patrol.
The galleria will always have a crowd. It wasn't too crowded like during Xmas holidays. If you're looking for an space for your business, they had a few.
Decent mall! They had some big department stores like Macy’s and belk, a large food court with a carousel and lots of other stores. It’s pretty close to downtown Birmingham only about 15 minutes away.

I like Riverchase Galleria. ESPECIALLY Macy's!nnCovid has changed the atmosphere everywhere, and it has of course affected all malls, not just the Galleria.nnThe Galleria It's still a beautiful mall; so go in, just be safe doing it.
