Downtown restaurants have reason to be jealous. East Birmingham on Hwy 280 has a home run restaurant. Chuck's is one of my favorite places in Birmingham and they just get better every time I go back. Check out the photos below. The food is absolutely incredible. The flavor combinations are perfect. Don't pass on this place.

Our server was great! My husband ordered the seafood platter and got 2 scallops, 3 shrimp, a 4 oz serving of some white fish they said was ahi with a small amount of rice and veggies. The plate was $40! The Brussels sprouts we great but in total (20) cost $14. Y'all they are vegetables! Way overpriced!

Typically seafood places that aren't near the water aren't all that good. Chuck's, however, is delicious. I've had several meals here, and never been disappointed. The stuffed shrimp is always good. So are the shrimp and grits. Last time I was there they had grouper on special that was delicious. I've never had the desserts, personally, but I've heard from people I trust that the cheesecake is very good, also.nnIt's a high quality seafood restaurant in which it's a pleasure to dine every time.

Absolutely some of the best Seafood away from the Gulf Coast. Definitely not inexpensive.

Dozens of 1st class meals, accompanied by 1st class service. The best in the entire area.
