Awesome hidden gem in Union Grove. Makes a great weekend getaway for you and your spouse or even the whole family. Perfect venue for weddings, church retreats, or group trips. Peaceful surroundings. Beautiful landscape views. Surrounded by nature and wildlife. Will definitely be visiting again.

We absolutely loved our stay in cabin #9 when we were visiting family in Huntsville in October. The setting is beautifully serene and the little cabin was PERFECT for all our needs! Melinda is a gracious host and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had crates for our two dogs, but they were so happy to get out of the truck after a 6 hour drive, that they ran off before we could get them confined to the porch. They returned after a 4 hour jaunt in the woods, thankfully. The cabin is far from major traffic, so my concern wasn’t that they’d be hit by a car. They thoroughly enjoyed hiking the area on leashes later in the week! We highly recommend Lazy G as a place to stay when in the Huntsville and surrounding area! It is so much better than a motel in the crowded city! We WILL be back!! ❤ufe0f

My wife and had to attend to the passing of a family member and needed a nice, secluded spot to stay for a few nights. We used Airbnb for booking but Tommy and Melinda never received the booking which we found out at check-in. They both went above and beyond to fix that for us and make sure we were taken care of and treated us like family. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. My wife and I both said we will be back many more times.nThe atmosphere of this place is magical. We could sit on the back porch of our cabin and listen to the creek bubble past and the crickets chirp while watching fireflies dance in the dusk. No crowds, no blaring signs to distract you. Just peace and quiet.

We had an amazing time. Honeymoon suite was beautiful. Everything you need for a romantic evening. The owner's were so helpful. The grounds were beautiful. Great venue.

The Lazy G is absolutely remarkable place to visit for all occasions. The scenery is gorgeous along with the facilities. Tommy and Melinda go above and beyond to make any event you have there amazing and memorable. They are wonderful hostesses and I would recommend this place for any fairytale wedding, short get away, or any occasion. I have been many times over the years and always enjoyed it and I hope to continue to visit in the coming years.
