Wanted to buy a gift card for a wedding present I called and asked if they sell them she said no it would be a gift certificate so we drove all the way go in and ask she says we will have to mail it to you because the person who does them isn't there what is that about why didn't they say that on the phone I was disappointed we went to the Rock house asked for 100 dollar certificate we paid they kept receipt and gave us our certificate I don't know no apology or anything from the lady it was disappointing something as simple as an apology or making it easy to spend money in your business

My husband and I came here for my birthday. Let me say that we are here before and it was excellent so idk if they have changed management or what I ordered the creamy pesto penne which is 16 dollars. A little pricey for a vegetarian dish but we expected this because of the atmosphere of the restaurant. The menu stated my dishes came topped with cherry tomatoes and Parmesan. I got neither. We were also told we would receive yeast rolls with the specialty butters. The tables around us got rolls we received none. My husband order pecan pie for 7.50 it was what appeared to be boxes pie and wasn’t even a full slice. I’m not trying to be a hater but when you spend 100 dollars on a meal you expect a certain quality. Also my for had dried cheese on it but I just used my husbands extra salad fork.

The food was good. The service was okay. I felt sorry for the wait-staff; they were under-staffed and some were running around trying to serve their tables. I could tell that my waitress was stressed but she did her best.
