Harmony Park Safari

We absolutely had a blast today at Harmony Park Safari! Loved having the opportunity to be up close and personal with all the different animals! Having been a horse owner much of my life, I can tell ya these animals looked very healthy. Their teeth were clean and healthy and hooves the same.nWe highly recommend visiting here if you're in the Huntsville area!

I took my daughters and their friend here for the first time and we had an awesome time. I definitely recommend checking it out. We fed the animals and even got to pet a few. With Covid, we weren’t allowed to get out of the car and explore but we still had a great time. The staff was super nice and explained everything when we arrived. I will be visiting again very soon.

For $10 per person, aside from toddlers 2 & under, this is a great idea for a family outing! When we went, there were a copious number of pea fowl & peacocks & ducks. Also friendly bovine like longhorn cattle, musk oxen, yak, & buffalo. Many small reindeer, gazelle, llamas, & alpacas, etc. Big birds like ostrich and emus were quite friendly, as well as several kinds of rams and goats. All the animals that approached the vehicles were tame & well versed in the routine of soliciting food & affection from the vehicle occupants. There is an option of buying approved feed and solo cups at the entrance for $10 for the feed & $1 for each solo cup. Currently no one can leave the vehicles due to COVID-19 restrictions.

These animals are massive!!! They were clearly accustomed to being fed, though, and readily approached for food. The staff I interacted with was very nice. Overall, Harmony is easily worth the trip and expense!

Highly recommend! We were just looking for something to do and came across Harmony Park Safari on the internet and figured we check it out. So much fun! The whole family was laughing the entire time and being so close to all the animals was a really cool experience. Check it out!
