Highland Pines Resort and Marina

Our family rented a cabin for my sister’s birthday, the girls in the office were so sweet.. I received a call making sure I would be there before they closed so I could get me key. We ate at the Hooch both nights, fun times. Cabin was clean, fishing was fun. Great time with my family~ already booked two cabins for July.

I rented a cabin in June of 2020. There were many issues when I stayed.nnI was told the cabin was updated and it looked almost exactly as it had 20 years prior. The floors were not vacuumed. I found fish hooks openly in walking areas. The sink drain had food left in the stopper. There were bugs lots of bugs. There was no internet or TV available for our stay.nnThe boat I rented was disgusting. Mind you I paid more for the non fishing boat! Pollen from the spring had not been cleaned. Leftover beer caps and cans were left on the boat. I had to practically beg for an anchor.nnI tried to address these issues before leaving but was told no one was available to help me. I have called repeatedly over the last months to resolve the issues with the company directly. No one has returned my calls!!!! I was told my information was being passed to a GM and never heard another word! I have tried to call about once a month to no response or resolve.nnI had many childhood memories here and had hoped to give my kids the same. Looks like we will be finding another place to go as a family.

Great stay and friendly staff! Everyone made me feel welcomed. My cabin was clean and had a beautiful view! The restaurant on site is very good and had a great porch area overlooking water. I look forward to staying again! Cool fact, country musician, Alan Jackson, was a dockhand at this marina back before going way down yonder on the Chattahoochee ud83dude01

Nasty Nasty Nasty. Noticed this place was a dump right off. The wife had to clean before we felt comfortable. The floor was very sticky. Hard to be bare foot on floor. We did not notice the refrigerator not cooling till third day. We threw out all groceries that were hot then left. We had been eating at restaurant and had not notice. Never Never again!

Been staying at Highland Marina for several years in the spring for a family fishing trip. We have noticed the last couple stays that the cabins aren't being maintained and certainly aren't worth the price tag that comes along with them. Our latest trip the fish cleaning station/dock was unavailable forcing us to clean fish outside the cabin, however the faucet wouldn't work. We were told they would send someone to repair it but they never did. We eventually connected to the next door cabin's water source to clean fish daily. The dishwasher didn't work and the A/C filter was completely covered in 1/4in mat of dust and dirt. The kitchen was missing many of the usual items they were previously stocked with.
